Transferred from a Transport Canada operated airport to a locally run Airport Authority, March 31, 2003.
Since our transformation to an airport authority early in the spring of 2003, we have set into motion an aggressive business plan focusing on improving airport infrastructure and services to attract transborder and international air services.
In so doing, building an airport that truly represents the needs of tourism, business and the residents of Northern British Columbia.
